HEROES RUN 2009 now looking for a sponsor!

We are still buzzing from the success of this year’s Superhero Challenge, so much so that we are already planning the 2009 event! With plans well under way, there are already some exciting developments:

We are changing the name to HEROES RUN

Over the last 4 years we have seen all our runners re-define what it means to be a hero, not least through their choice of costumes. As a result, we would love to see you guys dress up as anyone you class as a hero, super or otherwise. Capes and Lycra are still very much encouraged, but we reckon that Nelson Mandela could definitely give Superman a run for his money in a sprint finish!

HEROES RUN will be part of the Brighton Festival

We huffed and we puffed and after 4 years they have let us in! Next years run will therefore be a month later, on Sunday 17th May 2009.

We’re setting a new world record!

That’s right, in 2009 we are going to attempt to set a new Guinness World record for the most superheroes in one place. The record attempt will take place on Hove lawns just before the run sets off, stay tuned ...

The hunt for an event sponsor begins
