What you can do - Volunteer

There is no doubt in our minds that the future success of this charity lies in the expansion of The HEROES RUN. As this event grows each year, the need for extra hands on deck increases.

There are load of ways that you can help out:

Before the event

Event Promotion - From packing race bags to telling your work colleagues about the event, the more people we have selling this baby the more people hear about it. For instance, before the 2008 event we had great feedback from volunteers walking around town, in costume, handing out event flyers.

On the day

There are literally 100's of jobs on the day so the bigger the marshalling team we can put together the better. Roles include taking race entries, directing runners to the start line, handing out medals, taking photo's, manning the water station, erecting course barriers, the list goes on and on.
