PIO Superstars
There are many people that have really gone that extra bit to help PassingItOn.
It's only proper that they get a mention and a big thank you
right here!
Brighton College : "Alice Pooper 1st prize scooper!"
(added August 2007) A few weeks ago I was invited to put on some green tights don
the red Robin top and cape and stand in front of 300 children and adults at Brighton
College Prep school. Read more here
Will Pool and Performer Zone - "Performer Zone" staged
Disney's "High School muscial" and donated a large percentage to PassingItOn.
Thank you Performerzone!! You can find out more about them at
www.brightonstagers.co.uk/
Ian Dodd (again) - Thank you for the very generous donation.
Amanda Fisher - for being a fantastic long time supporter of PIO. Amanda
has started up a business teaching Karate (eek), not that any coersion was needed
for us to say 'thank you!' Check out
www.mattfiddes.com if you think you're hard enough (or not hard enough..
yet)
Dr Ashok Jansari - has raised over £1000 sponsorship for the Superhero
run - well done fella!
Mark Beautement - the first person to set up a direct debit for Passingiton!
how cool is that. Not only does he have the priviledge of that title, he also used
to share a bunk bed with Jim at school... he is indeed blessed
Matt's aunty Pam for her kind donations.
Ashokafor his very generous donation and his ongoing help and support
to what we are trying to achieve.
Rob Sayner, who raised £133 from the Hulk Classroom carry.
Well done for being a legend and raising loads of money!
Mr R Goodall, who can't make the dinner but has donated the price
of a ticket to the charity.
Mr Tickell, who also can't make the dinner but has donated the
price of his ticket to the charity.
Mrs Ann Lewis who works at St Piran's School in Maindenhead. She
held a fancy dress day for the children in the lower school and raised £281;
what a legend!
Mr Ian Dodd. We've been sent a cheque for £500 on behalf
of "The Derek and Eileen Dodgson Foundation"
Frances Borrer from Legal and General who sent us a £500
cheque for the Passingiton 5 a side football league.
Mrs Jackie Miller who kindly donated all the money she won in the
St Mark's World Cup sweepstake to The School in Kenya project.
Terry Pierce and all the wicked people at Waterhall Golf club who
without us asking them, raised £100 towards our East Brighton tag rugby club, they
did this by holding a golf competition. Thank you!!
Our saviour Pete Small has given us 4 full squad sets of rugby
kit! That's 60 shirts free and as if that wasn't enough he is printing our East
Brighton Sharks logo on our shirts for free too. His website is
www.logosports.co.uk
The Lads from the Infinity Foods 5 a side football team apart from
topping the league thanks to their silky skills have donated three hundred quid
to the minubus appeal. That karma has got to be worth at least a couple of corners
if not a couple of penalties!
A cool girl called Justine that Jim went to school with, she read
about our charity in a school magazine and sent us £30 - thank you!
Becki Hilland - total legend who has managed to raise £738
for PassingItOn. For anyone at the Superheroes Challenge she was the girl who ran
our race dressed as She Ra. Really nice lady.
Jim's aunt Janet and a load of kids at Kippax North school raised
£200 doing a charity fun run at their school. Well done everyone!
Top bloke Paul Barnett sent us a £50 cheque which is pretty
cool. Thank you Paul!
Thank you Julie Howey! Special thanks go to Julie from Telscomb
Cliffs who ran our run last year and recently donated a complete set of Encylopedia's
to the school in Kenya. Great work lady!
